It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society
— Jiddhu Krishnamurthi
I'm an oddball, an outcast, a loyal friend to those who value friendship, an ex-computer scientist, and a writer. Sometimes I answer questions about nonduality. I have worked part-time in technology and publishing, but neither I nor my bosses enjoyed this much.
Since the 1990's I have written lots of books about compilers and LISP and two about Yoga (meditation) and Theravada Buddhism. My latest book is a science fiction novel. It is called Hyper 7 and it picks up some questions left open in my essay The Gap.
In the past I have been interested in the development of programming languages, especially minimal languages and LISP [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]. I do not work much on these these days, but if you have any questions about past projects, feel free to ask!
